2 year agoCrash Taylorsville 4000 S 1300 W. Police were possibly chasing a truck and it crashed into a vehicle. Suspect fled on foot and multiple K9's and officers from surrounding agencies assisting in the search.
This was a police pursuit with a carjacking suspect. Police tell 2 people got away after the crash
This is right around the corner from another fire that destroyed 2 mobile homes in November.

Officers are on scene of a body found in the Jordan River. Detectives with our Homicide Unit are on scene, which is a standard protocol. Media staging is at 720 North Riverside Drive. A PIO is on scene
2 year agoHelicopter looking for a truck that fled from Taylorsville PD. They initially were on 5400 S Redwood went EB to 1300 W, then NB to 4800 S and they lost the vehicle in the area of 4500 S Atherton Drive. Helicopter was out on something else and just finished so they are assisting
2 year agoMillcreek 3300 S 3000 E. Unified officer spotted an occupied StolenVehicle. Officer gave commands to exit. The driver then decided to flee eastbound on 3300 S and stopped 1 block east. Additional officers arrived and driver was taken into custody
Police are investigating an armed carjacking at a Mcdonald's drive-thru, 30-minutes before the Rose Park home invasion
Police say this is an isolated incident. The man shot in the leg is expected to be ok. The gunman and other men are on the run and police think they could be connected to a car-jacking in West valley City
